Single-parent households are tough in the best of circumstances but when difficult life issues happen, hope can sometimes seem out of reach.

Where can people turn for help and a fresh start? Thrive Together Jefferson County is one option. The collaboration of ministries under the Thrive Together umbrella located in Birmingham, Alabama, seeks to restore hope and offer long-term sustainable solutions to challenges families face.

On this week’s TAB News, co-hosts Jennifer Rash and Debbie Campbell interview the organization’s director of development Jonathan Edwards about the services provided and opportunities to serve through Thrive Together Jefferson County (thrivejc.org).

Following the 28-minute interview, TAB staff members and correspondents will present an audio digest of this week’s issue including news, features, Dr. Batson’s Theology 101 column and Sunday School commentaries.
